What a surprise!

I've never liked tea. My mom often dragged me along to visit her mother (grandma), as well as and her aunt Lizzie & and her uncle John, all three, siblings from Wales and all three would pour tea whenever we visited. I always hated tea. It was dark, bitter, and dank, and I tried putting sugar in it, or milk, or both, and still couldn't drink the wretched stuff! Then, after hating tea for over 50 years, I moved into a different apartment and found that the former tenant had left behind an unopened box of Benner Classic Blend Tea, from Aldi. I almost threw it out, because I knew I would never drink it, but I kept it in case someone visiting me ever might take interest in a cup of tea. Then after many months, one cold winter night, when I needed something warm to drink, I decided to brew a cup, fully believing I would probably end up dumping it out...but I was wrong about that! I actually enjoyed that cup of tea so much that I realized it wasn't tea that I always hated, but rather, it was bad, bitter, acidic tea that I despised. Once I tried Benner Tea, I realized I do like tea; tea that's mellow, not bitter. Tea that is smooth, not loaded with tannins. Tea that's flavorful, but not heavy and overpoweringly dark. In short; I like Benner Tea, it's warmth of flavor and smoothness needs neither sugar nor milk to be deliciously satisfying, and I plan to buy more when this is gone! Thanks Aldi!

I was out of my Lipton tea and saw Aldi's had Benner black tea bags. I don't switch brands, but I thought it was worth a try. The check-out clerk highly recommended it, so I bought it. I was pleasantly surprised and Benner will be my tea from here on. Not only does it taste good, it is much cheaper than Lipton. I'm sold!

I just bought benner black tea unsweetened and I love it!!However the only thing I don't like it's seasonal and it's special product which made me sad. This so good and I 've tasted other brands and didn't like them so-call unsweet is sweet with artificial sweeteners which I get headaches . So, I hope Aldi will start selling this year round I would believe they would sell out. Hopefully !

Aldi just opened in my area and I tried the Benner Tea which they sell. I was impressed with the taste and price for the tea. Glad I found a tea that is not bitter. Love it hot or iced.

I have totally replaced Lipton with Benner about two years ago. Lipton tastes like an unpleasant chemical version of it's former self. Benner still produces a good tea flavor without sediment and unpleasant black stains on cups and pots.

My Family Drinks Iced Tea Everyday

This is one of the items that I refuse to buy anywhere else. I buy my tea exclusively at Aldi's because I like the price and the quality. My family drinks iced tea every day and it would get pricey to buy from another store. I use about 12 tea bags per gallon of iced tea so I get 12 gallons of tea for $1.89, or .15 a gallon. That's pretty hard to beat!

I won't buy my tea anywhere else. I love the flavor and it beats Lipton all to heck. They don't seem to have any flavor at all anymore. Before I found Benners, I was using 2 bags of the Lipton for a 12 oz. cup of tea. Besides that they are way to expensive when using 2 per cup. Benners beats Lipton hands down.

I prefer Benner tea over most all tea except some good loose teas. The price is very fair for the quality.
